Just a reminder that this month’s PTA meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 18th at 3:30pm. In addition to talking about upcoming events, we will be voting on the following proposal.
Reallocation of $2,000 currently designated in the budget to go toward field trips for k-4th grade. That will leave the total field trip allocation for k-4th
grade at $2,500. The reallocated funds ($2,000), along with an
additional $6,000, will be used, in combination with funds from the
Manchester School District, to purchase various pieces of technology
which will provide additional educational opportunities to all of the
student body.
Prior
to the vote, Mrs. Matthews will give those in attendance an overview of
the HGF technology plan which was developed by a committee of
administrators, teachers, parents and IT department personnel.
As
you may know, this is the third month this topic has been on the
agenda. In January we discussed this proposal and let it lay over until
the February meeting so members could think about it and ask
questions. Unfortunately we were unable to vote on it in February as we
did not reach a quorum at the meeting. Therefore we will be taking a
vote this month, providing there is a quorum (at least 10 voting
members) at the meeting.
