"No Sale" Update

Thank you to all of the HGF families who have contributed to the "No Sale".  While we are getting closer, we are still a long way from our goal and hope that you will continue to reach out to family and friends and keep the donations coming.  So far we are able to purchase birthday books and phys ed equipment, but many other programs we would like to sponsor, including books for classroom libraries and field trips, continue to go unfunded.

We would like to congratulate the following classrooms.  They are currently in the lead to receive playground equipment for achieving the highest percentage to goal.

Teacher Total Students $ Goal $ Raised % to $ Goal
Massey 23 $805 390.00 48.45%
Coulon 25 $875 135.00 15.43%
Record 23 $805 100.00 12.42%

We've made donating easier than ever!  You can make your contribution online by clicking the donate button.

Updated Bus Information for New Schedule Available

Per the district website, here is the announcement regarding the schedule change and bus information.

Bus Schedules: Elementary

If your child is assigned to a posted bus route, you will receive a post card in the mail before school begins. If your child will not be riding the bus or if your information is incorrect or has changed, please contact your child's school.

It is recommended that students be at their stops ten (10) minutes prior to the scheduled stop time. Parents please note: bus arrival times may vary slightly due to weather, road conditions, or traffic.

Students must meet the bus at the bus stop when it arrives.  Parents, if you wait with your children in the car or in your home, please ensure they are ready to go when they see the bus approaching.  Delays in students arriving at the bus stop will cause lateness for all children on the bus.

We are happy to announce our next No Sale Raffle prize....

Everyone who donates by November 13th will be entered into a drawing to win
(4) admission tickets to the SEE Science Center.

This raffles includes everyone who has donated since day 1. Remember, we have made it very easy for you to support your PTA.  There is no need to sell anything to friends or coworkers.  No need to deliver products.

There are still many programs unfunded at this time such as our literacy program, field trips, 5th grade celebration, physical education equipment and much more. Unfortunately, these will be cut if we cannot raise the funds we need, so please make your donation today!

Simply write a check and send it in with your child marked PTA No Sale. Or, scroll down to donate online. You can even set up an automatic payment if you would prefer to donate in monthly installments.

Because HGF PTA is a 501c3 non-profit organization, your donation may be entirely tax deductible.  We will also accept any corporate matching contributions. (Tax id #51-0509287)

The top 3 classrooms that raise the most money as a percentage of their
class room goal will be awarded a supply of playground equipment.
