Take Your Family to School Week Events, March 9 – March 13
This year HGF PTA will be celebrating Take Your Family to School Week with a series of events that will welcome parents and other family members into the school.
March 10th – Donuts with Dudes (7:45am-8:30am)
We will be welcoming Dads, Uncles, Brothers, Grandfathers or any male role models that the students invite to a low-key breakfast of donuts and coffee/milk. Dudes can come and hang out and have some breakfast. Stay for 10 minutes or all 45, whatever your schedule will allow. We’ll have a picture spot set up so you and your student can commemorate the occasion. It is so important to the success of students to have the male role models in their life engaged in their education.
March 10th – Math Night (6:30pm – 7:30pm)
Stop by HGF with your student to play some math games. Learn about the math lessons that your children work on in school every day.
March 11th – Parent Workshop & Student Art Display/Silent Auction (5:00pm - 8:00pm)
Join us for an evening of student creativity and learning. From 5:00-6:00 view student art projects and bid on collaborative works as we raise funds for Ms. Rousseau and the art curriculum. Then stay to hear nationally recognized education speaker, Susan Fitzell, present a workshop called “Motivating Students to Choose Success.” Child care will be available from 6pm-8pm.

BoxTop Collection - Spring Drive
It's time for our 'Spring' BoxTop Collection Drive! (Yes, we know that this weather hardly qualifies for Spring, but we're going to ignore what that groundhog said!)
Please turn in your boxtop sheets to your child's teacher by THIS Friday. The winning class will get a pizza party!
If you have loose boxtops, please make sure they are neatly trimmed. This is a big project and we appreciate everyone's help in keeping them organized. You can download additional collection sheets here.
Please contact Hilary or Stacey with questions.
